Paramore was a band before MTV started advertising the fuck out of Misery Business. You’ll never understand how much I hate how big they are.
They used to play small shows, and they could actually hang out after shows and not be rushed.
This will never happen again.
I do miss the times when they would hang out for a long time after a show, but they still connect on a personal level through other means. And isn’t more fans and recognition what musicians want? I think if it wasn’t for their popularity they would have dispersed long ago. I’m not for MTV but I’m glad they advertised Misery Business as much as they did otherwise we wouldn’t have any more awesome music from them. Other than that, I think people can tell which fans (true fans) followed their career from when Hayley was doing solo shows.
